Your drinks aren’t boring.
Your glassware shouldn’t be either.

What’s with the nub?

We get a lot of questions about this atypical little piece on the side of our glasses. The nub is added to the side of each glass to provide stability, grip, and confidence to every pour.

Whether you have been pouring drinks for years or are just starting to build your bar cart, that little nub will help keep your glass secure so the drinks can keep flowing.

Corey Cox, Glass Artist

Corey has been blowing glass all over Texas for well over a decade. Over this time, he has built his personal art brand as Good Morrow Glass developing the Swoop and Vandelay patterns used in our glasses, as well as creating some rad sugar skulls and other flamework art in his home studio. Corey and his wife Kimberly are new parents to baby Luca, (the real boss of Apera Glass) and dog-parents of two very cute Dachshunds.

Austin Farina, Glass Slinger

Austin’s career in the world of food & beverage has taken him across the country and globe in pursuit of great service and hospitality. After more than a decade in restaurants, he decided to try out something different — stepping into the world of glassware. Austin immediately recognized Corey’s designs as something that was unlike anything available, and the two struck up a friendship that eventually became Apera Glass. While he’s not slinging glassware, Austin works as the Beverage Director at Sammie’s Italian Restaurant in Austin, Texas.
